Things to Note:
RIDE DIFFICULTY DEFINITIONS:
- PLEASE NOTE THAT YOU MUST TRAILER YOUR OWN ATV/UTV TO THE SELECT TRAILHEAD/STAGING AREA (SEE RIDE DESCRIPTIONS)
- Each participant must be responsible for his/her own health and well-being along the trail. If you have particular medical or physical limitations, but decide to go anyway, please make your guide aware of your condition.
- ATV trails are not intended for high speed riding. It is necessary that all participants stay with the group, remaining behind the front guide at all times, for the safety and peace of mind of the entire group. ATVs/UTVs must be in good mechanical condition.
- Trails are subject to change
RIDE DIFFICULTY DEFINITIONS:
- BEGINNER: These rides are almost wholly on maintained dirt roads. Some of the beginner rides may include short moderately steep sections or switchbacks.
- INTERMEDIATE: Intermediate rides generally include some road and ATV trail portions with some steep, rough or challenging trails.
- ADVANCED: Advanced rides will generally include portions that are steep, rough, and otherwise difficult to maneuver.
WEDNESDAY

RIDE DIFFICULTY: BEGINNER - INTERMEDIATE

Staging Area: Ride from Big Mountain Lodge
Day Available: Wednesday September 6
Departure: 8:30 am
This ride will head up Ferron Canyon to Black Dragon Trail, to the Lords Trail, then on to Horn Mountain. Along the way you will visit a communication site with a birds-eye view of Castle Valley and the San Rafael Swell. From there, you will make a loop around the cap of Horn Mountain (elevation 9,000 feet) and return to base.

Day Available: Wednesday September 6
Departure: 8:30 am
This ride will head up Ferron Canyon to Black Dragon Trail, to the Lords Trail, then on to Horn Mountain. Day Available: Wednesday September 6
Departure: 8 AM
Leaving from base, you will travel up Ferron Canyon passing Wrigley and Spinners Reservoirs. At Spinners, traveling south through the Muddy river crossing towards Black Fork/Mountain. Upon arriving in the Baseball Flat area, you will have a birds eye view – southward, of I-70 and the Fish Lake National Forest. Continued travel on Skyline drive towards Mount Baldy and 12 Mile Flat, then passing Ferron Reservoir back to base.

Staging Area: Leaves from Big Mountain Lodge
Day Available: Thursday September 7
Departure: 8:00 AM
From Big Mountain Lodge, you will visit three lakes in the Manti La Sal Forest – Wrigley, Willow, and Ferron Reservoir. From Wrigley, you will travel through the Hunters Highway to Willow Reservoir, after which you will travel to Ferron Reservoir for lunch and your final fishing endeavor. From Ferron Reservoir, you will travel through 12 Mile Flat via Skyline drive to the south side of Big Mountain, past Spinners Reservoir, heading back to base.
Fishing Expo: At each reservoir, you will have approx. 1.5 hours of fishing. At each location, you can expect to catch Rainbow Trout and Tiger Trout. Upon the end of your fishing fun at each reservoir, there will be one prize given for the biggest catch. Ensure you have your fishing license.

six mile ponds

Departure: 8:00 AM
This ride will take you past Willow Reservoir and Ferron Reservoir, to Duck Fork Reservoir.
Continuing from Duck Fork, there a 66” pinch point upon traveling through George’s Fork.
Vehicles over 66” will travel to Skyline Drive via Ferron Reservoir and meet up with group on top. From there, you will travel towards Sand Ridge then to Six Miles ponds, where you will have lunch. Leaving there towards Baldy Mountain and 12 Mile Flat, then to Ferron Reservoir (photo op), then back to base.

This ride will take you past Willow Reservoir and Ferron Reservoir, to Duck Fork Reservoir.
Continuing from Duck Fork, there a 66” pinch point upon traveling through George’s Fork.
Vehicles over 66” will travel to Skyline Drive via Ferron Reservoir and meet up with group on top. From there, you will travel towards Sand Ridge then to Six Miles ponds, where you will have lunch. Leaving there towards Baldy Mountain and 12 Mile Flat, then to Ferron Reservoir (photo op), then back to base.

Staging Area: Must trailer to (30 miles to Joe's Valley)
Day Available: Friday September 8
Departure: 8:00 am
This ride begins at the Reeder Trailhead/Joes Valley Reservoir. From there, you will head up the dugway to Grassy Lake, then connect to Littles Creek trail toward Skyline Drive. Headed south towards Haystack Mountain, we will visit the Seeley Guard Station (awesome historical data and the oldest structure in the area). Upon departure from there, you will travel the Pete’s Hole and the Soup Bowl, where there are fantastic views; from Pete's Hole, travel back to base.
